KYLE GODWIN joins the Qantas Wallabies squad for the first time in 2014, with the 22-year old Western Force prodigy returning from an injury riddled Super Rugby season.
He experienced a breakthrough 2013 year, proving himself a strong young talent with a potent attacking game and a knack for slicing through defence in open play.
In 2012 he was Western Force MVP and a rising star in Australian Rugby’s stocks, quickly making himself known with a number of impressive performances during the season.
Chasing a 50th Super Rugby cap, Godwin has been considered by Australian Rugby as a future star of the national team and the powerful player has found home in the Western Force number 12 jersey.’
He played all but two games in 2013 and is quickly growing into one of Australia’s most talented outside backs, with the ability to punish opposition in defence and attack.

Born in Zimbabwe, Kyle began his international rugby campaign for the Australian U20s team that competed in the 2012 IRB Junior World Championship in South Africa.
Prior to that he represented Australian Schoolboys and was a member of the side which narrowly beat New Zealand Schoolboys 28-24.
